Open-pollinated. Delicious All-America Selections winning butternut. Cooks up sweet and tender. Fall and winter, this is a delicious butternut with improved fruit uniformity and increased yields. Interior is solid and dry. Pick young and use like summer squash or let mature to 6 lbs. Excellent for storing. Leave on the vine until fully mature. Harvest before frost, leaving part of the stem attached to the fruit. Store for winter use at 45-55 F in a dry place.
