Zinnia elegans ‘Lilliput Mix’ is a superb blend of this most unusual flower type, specially selected for its wide range of bright colours. Very floriferous, the tiny double pom-pom flowers are produced in profusion. With blooms that are 5cm (2in) wide and reaching 45 to 50cm (18 to 20in) tall, they are stunning in borders or as a cut flower. Lilliput Mix is an early-flowering zinnia, the medium-height plants are mildew-resistant, and bees and butterflies love the bright flowers. This outstanding annual, in a mixture of dark red, pink, purple, and white is always prized for its profuse display of stunning summer flowers. They begin blooming early and last until late autumn. A second sowing in mid-summer ensures continued flowering into the autumn. Zinnias positively thrives in sunny areas, it is an ideal annual for the beginner and is perfect for the cutting border.
