Zinnia elegans ‘Lilliput Mix’ is a superb blend of this most unusual flower type, specially selected for its wide range of bright colours. Very floriferous, the tiny double pom-pom flowers are produced in profusion. With blooms that are 5cm (2in) wide and reaching 45 to 50cm (18 to 20in) tall, they are stunning in borders or as a cut flower. Lilliput Mix is an early-flowering zinnia, the medium-height plants are mildew-resistant, and bees and butterflies love the bright flowers. This outstanding annual, in a mixture of dark red, pink, purple, and white is always prized for its profuse display of stunning summer flowers. They begin blooming early and last until late autumn. Very easy to grow from seed, they can be sown late spring until late summer directly in open ground where they are to flower. A second sowing in mid-summer ensures continued flowering into the autumn. Zinnias positively thrives in sunny areas, it is an ideal annual for the beginner and is perfect for the cutting border. Instructions: Deadhead continually to keep them blooming all summer long!
