When Cornell University developed Marketmore 76, it became the standard for slicing Cucumbers. Now there’s an improved strain with terrific disease resistance and great fruit shape! Harvest these cukes at about 8 to 9 inches long. They’re perfect for fresh slicing, thanks to their smooth, straight growth and thin, dark green skin. You’ll get good yields, too, because Marketmore Select is resistant to Scab, Cucumber Mosaic Virus, and both Downy and Powdery Mildew. Unbeatable for flavor, appearance, and quality! Special Instructions: Cucumbers can be allowed to grow on the ground, but for longer, straighter fruit and to save garden space, grow them in a cage or on a trellis, allowing 1 foot between plants.
